The best way to combat voter suppression so close to an election is by getting involved.

Here is a list, from our local officials and candidates to organizations across the country, to get involved with for the upcoming 2020 election.

It’s GO TIME! The clock is ticking down to November 3, 2020 and we need you! We’re providing resources, training, and opportunities so none of us has to go into this fight alone.

Jan Schakowsky –
Between now and November, Jan is leading the fight to organize progressive voters and volunteers to make the maximum electoral impact.  We need to win back the White House, win back the US Senate, and protect our seats in the US House.  To do that, we need thousands of people just like you to sign up to volunteer and fight back.

Chicago Votes –
Chicago Votes is a non-partisan, non-profit organization building a more inclusive democracy by putting power in the hands of young Chicagoans. We’re engaging and developing a new generation of leaders by opening the doors of government and politics to young people from all corners of the city. We’re changing laws to make Chicago and Illinois a better place to be young, and in the process we’re making democracy FUN.

Voto Latino –
Voto Latino is a grassroots political organization focused on educating and empowering a new generation of Latinx voters, as well as creating a more robust and inclusive democracy. Through innovative digital campaigns, culturally relevant programs and authentic voices, we shepherd the Latinx community towards full realization of its political power.

Sierra Club calls members about the Fair Tax Referendum
We’re reaching out to Sierra Club members across the state to educate our members on the importance of a progressive income tax in Illinois. Your help is crucial for us as we work to raise voter support for the Amendment.

Human Rights Campaign Phone Banks
Join the Human Rights Campaign in supporting HRC-endorsed candidates Lauren Underwood & Sean Casten as they seek re-election in the fall. Both Representatives are facing tough, uphill battles against strongly anti-LGBTQ opponents and need our help. We always start with a great training and will be there to support you every step of the way. Come help us protect our champions and forge ahead with equality in this cycle!

Vote Forward is partnering up with the cast of Hamilton and members of The Big Send coalition to launch a week-long letter writing challenge. Join us for a fun-filled, hour-long kickoff event featuring performances from the Hamilton songbook, trivia, and lively discussion – all while learning how to write letters to voters, of course!

Turnout2020 is a national voter outreach campaign from Progressive Turnout Project, powered by volunteers like you!
